Obituary of Robert Adrien Gagne

It is with great sorrow that we share the passing of Robert Gagné on January 28th at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital in Fredericton. Born on December 4th, 1954, he was the son of Thérèse and Renaud, brother of William, and beloved father of Geneviève (Kyle) and Alexandre.

Robert had an extensive career as a lawyer, focusing his work in labour relations. Over the years, he has had a lasting positive impact on countless people and colleagues, known for his joy and wealth of knowledge.

Those who had the privilege of knowing him knew that his children were his pride and joy. Second to his children, he had a deep love of hockey, cooking, golf, and telling jokes to whoever would listen. Robert will be dearly missed, but we take comfort in our memories with him.

His family would like to thank the many healthcare providers and friends who dedicated themselves to providing him comfort and peace in the time leading to his passing. 

The family does not wish for flowers or donations, but rather that you celebrate his memory with a nice cup of coffee and a good friend. 

There will be no visitation by request of the family. A Graveside Service will take place at a later date in Forest Hill Cemetery. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
