Forever Loved, Never Forgotten ...

Joel Clyde Wilson

January 10, 1958 - January 27, 2026

Joel Wilson, husband of Trina Wilson, of Burtts Corner, NB, passed peacefully to meet his Savior on January 27, 2026, at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. Born on January 10, 1958 in Fredericton, NB, he was the son of the late Clyde and Pauline (MacKenzie) Wilson. Joel is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Trina; his children, Christine, Jeremy (Jennifer) and Kristy (Dan); grandchildren, Jordis, Jessie, Seth, Lila and Robyn; brothers, Thomas and Timothy (Joyce); sister, Ruth Measor; cousins, nieces and nephews. Beside his parents, he was predeceased by his brother-in-law Donald Measor.

Joel was a hard working business owner who was always on the go outdoors. He enjoyed raising trout on his fish farm for many years. He liked to play his guitar with friends and his jokes kept us laughing. After a tough battle with lung disease, Joel was ready to go home to his Saviour where he is no longer suffering. He will be greatly missed by his friends and family. 

Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Saturday, January 31st, 2026 from 6-8 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at York Funeral Home on Sunday, February 1st, 2026 at 2 p.m. with Mr. Stephen Tranquilla to officate Joel's service.
