Obituary of Norman Bridges

 

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Norman Bridges, born in Sherbrooke, Quebec, who passed away in Fredericton, New Brunswick, on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Norman was born on March 20, 1950, the son of the late Ernest and Suzanne (Archambault) Bridges.

 

He is lovingly remembered by his children Stephanie (Steve), Jeff (Caroline), and Lisa-Marie (Chris); and his grandchildren Simon, Mégane, Coralie, Zach (Mackenzie), McKenzie, Cayden, Logan, Brady, and Payton. He is also survived by his sister Diane, and his nephew Norman (Roseann).

 

Interment will take place at a later date in Sherbrooke, Quebec. Details will be shared once arrangements are confirmed. In lieu of flowers, donations in Norman’s memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada. Messages of condolence may be shared with the family through the funeral home’s website www.yorkfh.com.
