Dykeman, Clarence Murray

The passing of Clarence Murray Dykeman of Keswick Ridge, NB, husband of Linda (Gibson) Dykeman, occurred on January 13, 2026 at Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital.  Born on October 31, 1948 in Keswick Ridge, NB, he was the son of the late Marion (McKeen) and Murray Dykeman.

Clarence is survived by his wife Linda Dykeman; sons: Clarence Matthew "Matt" Dykeman (Lesley) of Scotch Settlement and Clifton "Michael" Dykeman (Sarah) of Scotch Settlement; sisters: Evelyn Dunphy (Earl) of Mouth of Keswick and Phyllis Raymond (John) of Fredericton; grandchildren: Jackson, Seth, Eli and Jessie.

He was predeceased by his sisters: Lois Culliton and Esther McCready.

Clarence was a pillar of strength in his family. He loved his wife Linda dearly and was proud to have celebrated 50 years of marriage together this past September. Clarence beamed with pride every opportunity he had to talk about his “boys” he was a big influence in their lives , he was never without a hug and laugh for all of his grandchildren. He was the true definition of a family man.

Clarence was known to do anything to help all of his family as he had connections everywhere and always knew who to call or where to go.

Clarence was a man who loved to be behind the wheel of anything.  From tractors, to heavy equipment , escorting wide loads and working as a dump truck driver he always enjoyed what he did and the many people he would meet along the way.

The family thanks everyone for their care and support during this difficult time.

Following Clarence’s wishes a celebration of life will be held at a later date in June of 2026. For those who wish, donations may be made to Canadian Diabetes Association or charity of donor’s choice.  Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
