Obituary of Jennifer Ann Caracappa

The passing of Jennifer Ann Caracappa of Blackville, NB, wife of Serge Gauvin, occurred on January 14, 2026, at Hospice House Fredericton. Born on December 22, 1977, in Hackensack, New Jersey, she was the daughter of Joseph Patrick Caracappa (Joan Caracappa) and the late Anne K. Linder.

Jennifer worked as a paralegal for 25 years, a role she carried out with dedication and professionalism. In her spare time, she enjoyed arts and crafts and had a special love for animals.

In addition to her husband and father, Jennifer is survived by her son, Thomas Caracappa; her grandmother, Kay Daly; her sister, Kristin Caracappa; her uncle, David Daly; and her aunt, Kathy Caracappa. She will be remembered for her kindness, creativity, and quiet strength.

Arrangements have been entrusted to York Funeral Home’s Miramichi Valley Chapel, 7681 Route 8, New Bandon, NB.
