Obituary – Catherine Elaine Howe - April 9, 1932 – January 13, 2026

The passing of Catherine (Kaye) Elaine Howe of Fredericton, NB, occurred on January 13, 2026 at York Care Centre.

Born on April 9, 1932 in Shelburne, NS, Catherine was predeceased by her parents Jean (Lavender) and John Bell, husband Eldon Howe and son Richard Howe. Brothers; Basil Bell, George Bell, Jack Bell and Robert Bell. Sisters; Constance (Connie) Nickerson, Pauline Hagens, Amelia (Nin) Follette, Gloria Bell, Irene Guy and Thelma "Priscilla" Wesley. 

A former employee of the Horizon Health Network, Catherine is survived by sons, Michael Howe (Susan Mulloy) of Fredericton, Timothy Howe (Louise Earl) of Stittsville, ON; her pride and joy, both granddaughter, Sierra Howe of Fredericton and grandson, Richard Howe (Paula Torres Munoz) of Halifax and 2 loving sisters, Sylvia Nickerson of ON and Lorraine Smith of ON and several nieces and nephews.

The family extends their sincere thank you to the exceptional staff at Tower 3 at the York Care Centre for their help and support during their Mum’s stay at their facility.

At the wishes of the family there will be no visitation.
