The family of Randolph (Randy) Waddingham sadly share the news of his passing on December 31, 2025 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital, with family by his side.  Born August 2, 1947 in Fredericton N.B.  He was the eldest son of Roland and Myrna (DeWitt) Waddingham.

Randy is survived by his wife of 55 years Sandra (Yerxa) Waddingham, daughter Heather McKinnon (Kevin), sons Andrew Waddingham and Bradley Waddingham (Melanie Davis), grandsons Colin and Landon McKinnon, brother Rollie Waddingham, sisters Pam Hughes and Susan Horsnell, brother in law Edwin Yerxa, several nieces and nephews.

Randy was predeceased by his parents Roland and Myrna Waddingham, in laws Byron and Kathleen Yerxa, sister in law Carolyn Jones, brother in laws Ralph Jones and Derek Horsnell.

Randy loved time with his family, being outdoors, smoking salmon or ribs and of course a couple of trips each year to Alma for lobster for the family, going to his grandkids hockey games, taking his sisters out and talking to his brother and friends or going to supper with friends.

He was a member of the New Maryland Faith Baptist Church, Lake George Gun Club Inc. and Odell Shooters Fraternity Inc.

Randy was an entrepreneur, New Maryland Contractors and Randy Waddingham and Sons starting his business in 1974 doing landscaping work and later selling snow plows until 2019 when he retired due to health.

Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton N.B. on Saturday January 10, 2026 from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 pm.   A memorial service will take place Sunday January 11, 2026 at 3 pm at the New Maryland Faith Baptist Church, 525 New Maryland Hwy., New Maryland, NB with Rev. Larry Matthews officiating.  Interment will take place at a later date in the New Maryland Faith Baptist Cemetery, New Maryland, NB. Honorary pallbearers are Peter Hughes, 
Colby Waddingham, Jamie Jones, Doug Bird, Dale Noble, Zeig Mehlitz. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, New Maryland Faith Baptist Church, Liver Canada or to a charity of donors choice.  We also encourage people to become an organ donor.

The family wish to thank doctors and nurses in the ICU and Emergency Dept. at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital for the excellent care given Randy.  Thank you to Dr. Karol, Dr. O’Brien and Marie Itoafa who over the years have given Randy excellent care.   Personal condolences may be offered through York Funeral Home.
