In Loving Memory of Linda Marjorie McCoy

The passing of Linda Marjorie McCoy of Noonan, NB, wife of Campbell McCoy, occurred on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on February 17, 1947, in Fredericton, NB, she was a daughter of the late Sidney and Shirley (Ryan) Harris.

In addition to her husband, Linda is survived by her sons, Shawn McCoy (Maryann) and Jason McCoy (Shawna); grandchildren, Brett (Miradi), Jared (Keely), Abby (Scott), and Bryson; great-grandchildren, Amiyah, Micah, Molly, Mallory, Vivan, and Levi; and her sister Cynthia "Cindy" Harris.

Beside her parents, Linda was predeceased by her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Donald and Leora (Curtis) McCoy.

Linda was a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother. She cherished the simplicity of life and enjoyed conversations with her sister, outings to town and their daily walks through the trails in the woods. She had a special bond with her sons who were the joy of her life. She cherished every moment with them and her legacy will live on through them.

Linda took great delight in watching her grandchildren and great-grandchildren thrive. A smile on their faces brought a smile to hers. No one could leave without a , here give me a hug!

She loved to travel and enjoy life with her husband Cam, creating beautiful memories wherever they went. Linda embraced life with kindness and patience, always seeing the silver lining in any situation. She will be dearly missed by her family and all who knew her. Special thanks to Ambulance attendants, medical staff and Palliative Care.

Her family is grateful for everyone’s prayers and kind gestures in the past few weeks. As per Linda and family requests, a graveside service will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to IWK or SPCA. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com.
