I lived around the corner from Shane in our early teens. He was known to our group of friends as "Cooter", we all had a nick name. Shane played bantam A baseball while I made the B team, he was an incredible athlete and ran an incredible 1/4 mile. He was fast. Shane was a good friend and God father to one of my sons. Time and sometimes distance seperated us over the past several years. I have great memories of moving pool tables with the family business and just hanging out in the woods with a recently built lean to. Sleep overs on the deck with our friends and his enormous cat Charlie. I'll miss you Cooter, wish we could have got together sooner.
