Cooper, Grant Bruce

The peaceful passing of Grant Bruce Cooper of Fredericton, New Brunswick, husband of Barb Herd, for 44 years, occurred on December 22, 2025, at Medley Hall – Shannex, Fredericton, NB.

Born on October 10, 1942, in England, Grant was the son of the late Nora (Dimond) and William Cooper. He worked as a painter at Base Gagetown for 30 years. Grant proudly served in the Canadian Navy for 10 years and greatly enjoyed golfing at Gilridge for many years. Grant will be remembered for his quirky sense of humor and his extreme kindness to everyone.

Grant is survived by his wife, Barb; stepdaughter, Joel Herd (Paul Standing); and great-grandson, Ben. He was predeceased by his parents, Nora and William Cooper; his dear grandson, Khonner; and his brother, Bill.
