Obituary of Juanita Jennie Green
Juanita Green October 5, 1952 – December 2, 2025
Juanita Green of Stanley, NB, passed away peacefully on December 2, 2025, at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital in Fredericton, NB. Born on October 5, 1952, she was the beloved wife of Linden Green and the cherished daughter of the late Tilley and Burns Anderson.
Juanita will be remembered for her generous heart and the warmth she shared with everyone she met. An avid baker, she delighted in providing countless treats to friends, neighbours, and anyone who happened to stop by. Her kitchen was a place of comfort, and many in the community felt the love she baked into everything she made.
A spirited competitor, Juanita loved card games—crib, 45’s, and hearts were her favourites—and she especially treasured playing with her family. She was also a familiar and friendly face in local bingo halls, always ready for a night of fun and laughter. A proud and dedicated Blue Jays fan, Juanita rarely missed a game, cheering loudly from her living room. Even louder, however, were her cheers in the stands of local gyms and rinks, where she was her grandchildren’s biggest supporter. Family was her world, and she gave her love freely and wholeheartedly.
Juanita’s kindness was unmatched—she was always willing to help, always ready to give, and always thinking of others.
She leaves behind her children, Nicole (Larry) and Nick (Victoria); her grandchildren, Madison (Ian), Ashton, and Isabella; her brothers, Melvin (Anne) and Kenny (Denise) Anderson; her sister, Darlene Goodine; her brother-in-law, Ronnie; sisters-in-law, Carol, Elizabeth, and Joan Anderson; as well as several nieces and nephews, all of whom she loved dearly.
In addition to her husband and parents, Juanita was predeceased by her grandson, Luke; her brothers, George, Thurman, Millen, and Ardie Anderson; her sisters, Flora Douglas, Audrey O'Hara, Winnifred Duguay, Lillian Wall, Charlotte Hay, and Mary O'Hara; and her special aunt and uncle, Neat and Bob Regan.
The family extends a special thanks to her Uber driver Joan, her Extra-Mural nurse Rhea, Dr. Gordon MacDonald, and the staff at 3E for their care and support.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the IWK or a charity of the donor’s choice.
A Celebration of Life will take place on Monday, December 8, 2025, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. in the upstairs room of the Upper Nashwaak Arena.
Juanita’s legacy of kindness, laughter, and love will remain forever in the hearts of those who knew her.
