Obituary of Jean Laura O'Donnell

Jean Laura O'Donnell (nee: Parker)

1932-2025

It is with heavy hearts our family announces the peaceful passing of Jean Laura O'Donnell on November 18, 2025 at Central New Brunswick Nursing Home in Boiestown, New Brunswick.  Born on August 20, 1932 in Carrolls Crossing, New Brunswick,  she was the daughter of the late Susan Parker (nee: Storey) and Norman Parker. 

Those left to mourn Jeans loss are her son, Sherman O'Donnell of Carroll's Crossing; her loving grandchildren, Christopher, Tammy, Jodie, Jason and Hollie; her great grandchildren, Tyler, Tyson, Ashlee, Jasmine, Kalub, Emma and Savanah and her son-in law, James of Porter Cove, New Brunswick. 

Jean leaves this world to join her husband of 57 years, Victor O'Donnell, her daughter, Ruth Price of Porter Cove, New Brunswick; her son, Calvin O'Donnell of Doaktown, New Brunswick.

Jean loved gardening, camping, going to church and yard sales. One of her greatest passions was entertaining people and feeding them a delicious home cooked meal. 

A visitation will be held at the McName Pentecostal Assembly Church, 287 McNamee Rd, McNamee, NB E9C 2H1 from 12p.m. - 2p.m., on Saturday, November 22, 2025. A Funeral Mass will take place at 2p.m. A Burial will take place following her service at the McNamee Pentecostal Cemetery in Porter Cove.
