Born and raised in Windsor, Ontario Sandra possessed a warm and generous heart. She was a woman who deeply valued honesty and loyalty, guiding principles throughout her life. Her spirit was joyful; she often reminisced about family camping trips in her youth, where her beautiful voice could always be heard singing around the campfire. This love of music and spreading joy continued throughout her life. As a young woman she loved to cook and bake, she found immense pleasure in sharing her culinary creations. She also found comfort and creative expression in her hobbies, dedicating countless hours to crafts and painting. Sandra treasured the bonds with family, especially the frequent calls and laughter she shared with children and siblings.
Sandra resided at the York Care Centre in Fredericton, the family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the dedicated and compassionate staff who provided her with exceptional care and kindness. A special thank you is extended to Trevor for being like a second son to her, extending his service beyond his expected duties countless times.
In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of Sandra's life will be held at a later date, and details will be shared by the family when available.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the recreational therapy department at the York Care Centre, to support activities for other residents.
