The family of Dianne Marie Tissington of Fredericton, NB are sad to announce Dianne’s passing on November 16, 2025 at Medley Hall.  Born on September 12, 1952 in Fredericton, NB Dianne was the daughter of the late Marie (Fox) and Carl Jones. 

Dianne is survived by her sons Troy Sandwith (Rebecca) of Fredericton, Jason Sandwith (Heather) of Fredericton and her daughter Christieann Sandwith of Fredericton, as well as her grandchildren Hailey and Owen and her siblings Steven Jones (Angela) and Kerry Hughson (David).

Dianne very much enjoyed her career in teaching, specializing in the education of advanced math to both middle and high school students. After completing many years of classroom teaching Dianne accepted the position of Vice Principal at Fredericton High School taking her to retirement.

Retirement allowed Dianne to enjoy spending more time with her grandchildren as well as her many friends. 

Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, on Thursday, November 20, 2025 from 12 to 2pm immediately followed by a Memorial Service with Rev. Kevin Culberson officiating. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to DECH Auxiliary Inc where Dianne served on the Board of Directors or a charity of donor’s choice.
