Obituary of Mona Jean Brewer

The passing of Mona Jean Brewer of Fredericton, NB, wife of the late Rupert Brewer, occurred on Thursday, November 6, 2025 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital, Fredericton, NB. Born on March 3, 1931 in Zealand, NB, she was the daughter of the late Burleigh and Josephine (Morehouse) Crouse.

Mona is survived by sons, Andrew Brewer (Sharon) of Caronport, SK, Guthrie Brewer of Winnipeg, MB; daughter, Pam Gilbert (David) of Charters Settlement, NB; daughter-in-law, Valarie Brewer of Zealand, NB; sister, Almeda Brewer of Zealand, NB; grandchildren, Tammy, Rob, Melinda, Ryan, Becky, Kyndal and Deanna; 12 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; along with several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband and parents,  she was predeceased by her son, Gregory Brewer; brother, Wansley Crouse; infant sister, Grace Opal; step-mother, Dorothy Crouse; daughter-in-law, Eileen Brewer.

A Graveside Service will take place Sunday, November 9, 2025 at 1 PM, at the Zealand Community Cemetery with Pastor Dan Foreman officiating.
