Obituary of Raymond Alan Garrity

The passing of Raymond Alan Garrity, of Maugerville, NB, occurred on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on March 7, 1950, in Hamilton, ON, he was the son of the late Vernon Herbert and Caroline Jane (James) Garrity.

 

Ray proudly served as a military mechanic. He shared 52 loving years with his first wife, Barb Garrity, before her passing. In later years, he found love again with Tammy (Coakley) Garrity, whom he cherished deeply until her passing in June.

 

Ray is survived by his son, Bradley Garrity; step-son, Robert Garrity; brothers, Thomas Garrity, Gord Garrity, and Gerald Garrity; sister, Melody Garrity (Richard Casey); sister-in-law, Beverley Narrie; niece, Samantha MacPherson; nephew, Scott Garrity; and many extended family members and friends.

 

He was predeceased by his Nanny, Caroline James; his beloved wives, Barb and Tammy; and brothers, Phil Poulter (late Joanne) and Gary Garrity.

 

Arrangements have been entrusted to York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB. At Ray’s request, there will be no visitation or funeral service.
