Obituary of John Frederick DeLucry
The passing of John Frederick DeLucry of Fredericton, NB, husband of Shirley Marie (Chase) DeLucry, occurred on November 2, 2025 at the Dr. Everett Chalmer’s Regional Hospital, Fredericton, NB. Born on July 13, 1937 in Tay Creek, NB, he was the son of the late Margaret (Hayes) and Leo DeLucry. John worked as a Truck Driver for Irving Oil and in sales for Bowman Distribution. John was a member of the Elm Tree Square and Round Dance Club and the Washademoak Square Dance Club.
John is survived by his wife, Shirley; daughter, Luanne Davidson (Ivan) of Woodlands; granddaughters, Stephanie Hamilton (Shawn) of Saint John, and Tanya Adams (Devern) of Beaver Harbor; great-granddaughters, Nia Hamilton, and Evie Hamilton; sisters, Greta Clarkson of Fredericton, Ellen Ann Thomas (Hazen) of Lake George; sister-in-law Ruth DeLucry of Fredericton; and son, Ben Clendenning.
John was predeceased by his parents, Margaret and Leo; brother, Paul DeLucry; and brother-in-law, Glenwood Clarkson.
A private Interment will take place in St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery, Tay Creek. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Cemetery, Tay Creek. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
