Obituary of Lois Archibald

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lois Archibald (77) of Salmon Beach, NB, who passed suddenly but peacefully with her children and granddaughter by her side after recently being diagnosed with cancer.

She passed away on October 28, 2025 at Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital in Fredericton. She was predeceased by her mother Lucy McGaugh and father Eugene McGaugh as well as several aunts and uncles.

She was a retired member of the Canadian Armed Forces where she proudly served her country for 35 years. She had a very strong work ethic, which she instilled in her children.

She was a strong woman that cherished all those around her especially her granddaughter Kennedy, who she had a very strong bond with. They shared many memories with each other whether going to the beach, going to church, and visiting family.

Lois will be missed by many especially her son, Aaron Archibald, daughter, Jennifer Archibald; her granddaughter, Kennedy Northrup, and her sister, Kaye Kellogg (Russ).

A visitation with the family along with food and refreshments will be held at 2:00 pm followed by a service at 3:00 pm on Wednesday November 12, 2025 at the United Church in Clifton, NB.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her honour may be made to charity of the donor’s choice.
