Obituary of Cain Sparkes

With heavy hearts, we share the sudden and unexpected passing of Cain Glendon Allen Sparkes on October 28, 2025.

He was the beloved son of Marilyn (Sparkes) Graham (Junior) and the late Glendon Meyer, and stepson to Ronald Graham.

Born on September 14, 1983,Cain was a kind and spirited soul who found his greatest peace in nature. An avid fisherman and hunter, the outdoors was truly where he thrived. He especially cherished the time spent with his beloved nephew, Jayden Buckley, with whom he shared an unbreakable bond and endless adventures.

Cain was predeceased by his sister Tara Graham, and grandparents Gordon and Ruth Meyer, and Vern and Lou Sparkes.

He will be deeply missed and forever loved by his family and friends, whose lives were enriched by his warmth, humour, and generous heart.

A interment will take place on November 15, 2025 at 2 pm at Cross Creek Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the SPCA in Cain’s memory. Personal condolences may be expressed through York Funeral Home at www.yorkfh.com.
