Obituary of John Lester Foreman

Lester Foreman of Fredericton, New Brunswick passed away on October 29 at the age of 83. He was predeceased by his wife Linda and together over 60 years of marriage they raised a family, had an amazing circle of friends, enjoyed traveling and spending time at their camp in his hometown of Stanley.

Lester was truly a kind, caring and supportive person who made other people feel at ease. He had a big smile, great sense of humor and a huge love of good-natured teasing. He worked with the Department of Transportation throughout his career. He enjoyed logging, building his first camp, fishing and spending time with family.

 
He will be greatly missed by his children Jeff (Diane), Brian (Shelley) and Krista (Andrew), as well as his pride and joy grandchildren Justin, Teague, Taylor, Kyle, Brianna, Kaitlin and Cortney, several nieces and nephews and he had a special connection with his great-nephew Jaxson. 

Lester was also predeceased by infant son Thomas Murray, parents John and Bessie Foreman, brothers Murray and Stanley, and sister Grace. 

The family would like to thank Dr.Irrinki and the staff of York Manor for all their care and compassion, as well as Jessica Chisholm for being a bright spot in their father’s life during his days in hospital and at York Manor.
