Patricia Elaine Hunter

The passing of Patricia Elaine Hunter of Fredericton, NB, occurred on Tuesday, October 21, 2025 at Hospice Fredericton.  Born on March 17, 1952 in Doaktown, NB, she was the daughter of the late Everett and Margaret (Bowes) McDonald.

Patricia is survived by her daughter, Shawna Eskiw (Mike) of St. Albert, AB; grandchildren, Hunter Eskiw, Jack Hunter and Violet Maston; brothers, John McDonald (Isabell) of Charters Settlement, NB and Ron McDonald of Blissfield, NB; sisters, Freda Grey (Ted) of Fredericton, NB and Louise Peterson of Blissfield, NB; along with several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Patricia was predeceased by her son, Kent Hunter; sister, Eleanor Ann; brother, Melvin McDonald; brother-in-law, Clifton Peterson.

In keeping with Patricia’s wishes there will be no visitation or service at this time. Interment will take place at a later date.
