Forever Loved, Never Forgotten ...

Coleen P. Williams

1945-2025

The passing of Coleen Pearle (Gorman) Williams of Hamtown Corner, wife of Wayne Williams, occurred on October 15, 2025 at the Nashwaak Villa. Born on February 13, 1945, she was the daughter of Pearle (Thomas) and Thomas Gorman of Cardigan.

Coleen spent her childhood growing up on a farm surrounded by her brother Royce, her cousins, and her grandparents. After her marriage, she moved to Nashwaaksis and then to her beloved Hamtown Corner home. Being outdoors was one of her greatest joys and she spent countless hours in the woods, working in her yard, and snowshoeing to her favorite spring.

She worked as a secretary at Capitol Dairies and babysat countless children at her home. After her own children went to school she returned to work in the payroll department of the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital in Fredericton from which she retired after many years of work as a payroll manager.

She was a person of great faith and a longstanding dedicated volunteer at the North Cardigan United Church. She had a great interest in genealogy and local history and was an active member of the local Welsh Society.

She raised three daughters, Angela Williams of Hamtown Corner, Wendy Morrell (Larry) of Limekiln, and Stacey Williams (Tom Ransom) of Halifax. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her seven grandchildren (Chris Boone, Amanda Boone, Max Morrell, Thomas Ransom, Benji Ransom, Oliver Ransom and Henry Ransom) and one great granddaughter Lily Boone. She was a dedicated pet owner to numerous dogs and cats.

She was predeceased by her husband and parents.
