Obituary of Albert Edward Banks

Surrounded by his wife and family Albert Edward Banks, born March 14, 1934, passed away at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on September 20, 2025, at the age of 91.

He leaves behind his loving wife of 57 years, Barbara (Saunders), sons Tony (Lindsey), Joe (Heather), four grandchildren Samantha (George), Jonathan (Hillary), Kristen (Zack) and Nicholas; and 5 great grandchildren Rachel, Roman, Madison, Toby and Chloe; several nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by his parents, three brothers, one sister, and his grandson (Ryan).

Albert spent much of his life doing carpentry and loved his trade. He loved a good game of UNO, watching wrestling and his favorite TV shows, Sunday drives, William’s Seafood, fishing, hearing (or telling) a good joke, shopping at Giant Tiger and sharing stories, especially with his grandchildren who looked forward to Papa’s homemade dressing at every family gathering. We have the honor of sharing those stories now.

He is loved dearly and will be sadly missed.
