Shaw, Ester Eileen

The passing of Ester Eileen Shaw of Fredericton, NB, wife of the late Winston Albert Shaw, occurred on September 17, 2025 at Eden's Retirement Villa.  Born on June 13, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Lucy Winfay (Haines) Morgan and Sterling Morgan. Ester worked as a home care worker. She loved to quilt, knit, and cook.

Ester is survived by sons, James Shaw (Janelle) and Sterling Shaw (Chanchez); grandchildren, Sarah (Matthew), Megan, Dean, Tyson, Jorjah (Wesley); great grandchildren, Katherine and Robert; siblings, Wanda, John (Cathy), Leo (Sandra), Charlotte (Arnold), Donald (Jeanette); and good friend Margaret.
Along with her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her brother, Clyde and sister, Joyce.

The family of Ester would like to thank the staff at Eden's Retirement Villa for their compassionate care of Ester for the last five years.

A graveside service will take place in Mactaquac Baptist Church Cemetery, 1496 NB-105, Mactaquac, NB, on Monday, September 22, 2025 at 1 pm with Gordon Mowry officiating.
