It is with great sadness that the family of Erika Ann Levesque of Lutes Mountain, NB, announce her passing on August 30, 2025 peacefully surrounded by her family at George L. Dumont University Hospital. Born on January 21, 1977 in Halifax, NS, she was wife to Steve Levesque and daughter of Allan Morehouse and the late Gail (Jewett) Morehouse.  

Erika worked as a Cardiology Technologist at Horizon Health for over 25 years. She enjoyed her flowers, working in her small garden and  spending time with her family and friends. She thoroughly enjoyed working with her patients and staff at the Moncton Hospital. Erika was known for her selfless generosity, kind, gentle heart & soul and her soft spokenness. 

Erika is survived by husband, Steve; son, Samuel; siblings, Shawn Morehouse (Jennifer), Vanessa Morehouse (Tim), and Aaron Morehouse; step-mother, Carla Morehouse; mother-in-law, Nicole Levesque; father-in-law, Guertin Levesque; sister-in-law, Tina McPhee; along with several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her mother, Gail (Jewett) Morehouse and brother-in-law, Eric Levesque.

The family of Erika would like to express sincere thanks to the staff of George L. Dumont University Hospital, Moncton City Hospital, The Lahey Clinic and Extra-Mural for their compassionate care and a special thank you to Mr. Robert K. Irving and the Irving family for their tremendous support during this time.

Visitation will be held at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton on Wednesday, September 3, 2025 from 2 – 4 pm and 6 – 8 pm.  The funeral will take place at Burtts Corner Baptist Church, 1034 Route 104, Burtts Corner, NB on Thursday, September 4, 2025 at 2 pm with Pastor Blake Dawson and Pastor Dave Wellwood officiating.  Pallbearers will be nephews Nathaniel Morehouse, Landon Brewer, Blake McPhee, Evan McPhee, and cousins Keanen Jewett and Micheal Vincent. Interment will take place in Burtts Corner Community Cemetery with immediate family.
