Obituary of Irene Mary Collins

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Irene Mary Collins of Fredericton, NB, wife of the late: Thomas Pat Collins, occurred on August 28, 2025 at Pine Grove Nursing Home.  Born on September 28, 1942 in Minto, NB, she was the daughter of the late: Bertha (Boucher) Molnar and the late: Steve Molnar.  Besides her parents, Irene was predeceased by brother’s Steve, John and Harold Molnar.

Irene is survived by daughter’s Wendy McKiel (Greg) of Fredericton and Kelly Donovan (Jamie) of Fredericton, sister’s Helen Henderson of Westfield, Mary Perry of Minto, Jolan Melanson (David) of Fredericton, Linda Atyeo (Roger) of Minto, Judy Molnar (David) of Minto, brother Andy Molnar of Minto, grandchildren: Brandon, Morgan, Mychelle and Nicholas, six great-grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews.

Irene worked as A Care Home Worker for years and enjoyed spending time at St. Mary’s Entertainment Centre

As per her request, no services will be held at this time.  Donations may be made to Fredericton SPCA or charity of the donor’s choice.  Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
