The first time I saw Sue I thought to myself, "Wow, she has great hair!" Then I found out we'd be eating together. I told her as soon as I could that I loved her hair. I'm a resident at Windsor Court. She had come for a couple of weeks while her mother was in Cuba. We didn't have the same disability, but we had many other things in common such as our sense of humour and desire to eke out as much quality out of life as possible. We connected in so many ways and it was wonderful to meet someone with similar challenges closer to my own age. I am heartbroken to hear of her loss.

Sue - may you now see the huge impact you had on everyone who knew you in this life! There is already a hole felt by your passing my dear friend. I will forever remember your strength (even in those moments when you couldn't see it for yourself), your adventurous spirit, our mall dates, our quiet supportive talks when life was kicking either of us around a bit, and the shenanigans of our younger years often with Jen's help ;)

Our hearts are saddened by the loss of our very dear friend Sue. Our heartfelt condolences to Carolyn; her wonderful Mom and her family. Sue and I shared some fun loving times together.
