Obituary of Norma Ellen Tucker

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Norma Ellen Tucker, beloved mother, cherished grandmother, great-grandmother and friend on Thursday, July 24, 2025. She leaves behind a legacy of unforgettable memories. Born on December 13, 1949 in Upper Derby, NB, she was the daughter of the late Norman and Olive (Parker) Parks.

Norma had a zest for life like no other. She touched the lives of many through her kindness and unwavering love. May her soul find eternal peace. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Norma was the proud mother of her three children, Shawn (Sheri), Darcy (Sandy), Laurie (Bob); she adored her six grandchildren, Dustin (Destiny), Ashley, Brooke (Daniel), Reese, Ethan, Emma; she was thrilled to welcome to the world her great-grandchildren, Dune, Ward, Bane and Lyndy. She is also survived by her siblings, Gertrude (Bob), David (Warrine), Clinton (Hannah), Wayne (Anita), Kerry (Maureen); sister-in-law Joan as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Her family was her greatest source of happiness and inspiration.

In addition to her parents, Norma was predeceased by her siblings, Heather, Gordon, Sterling; sister-in-laws, Bonnie, Cathy and nephew, Christopher.

The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the doctors, nurses and staff of the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital for their compassionate care, kindness and support during Norma's stay.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Estey’s Bridge Community Centre, 1388 Route 620, Estey’s Bridge, NB on Friday, August 8, 2025 from 1 - 4 pm. Interment will take place in the Derby United Church Cemetery, Millerton, NB at a later date. For those who wish, donations can be made to Derby United Church Cemetery Fund, ALS Society of New Brunswick, or a charity of the donor's choice.
