It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Beverly Anne “Bev” Pinnock, following a brave fight with chronic illness. Bev passed away peacefully on July 7, 2025 at Hospice House in Fredericton, with her son Chris and Leanne by her side.
Bev was born on October 9, 1952 in Quebec, and raised in Montreal. She attended UNB Fredericton where she received her Bachelor of Education. Her first and only teaching position was as an elementary teacher in the Village of Stanley, a job she held for over 35 years. She was well respected and adored by her students and their families.
It was at the beginning of her career when she met Marty, her soulmate of 45 years. They married on July 26, 1980, and made a happy life together with their son Chris, at their beautiful farm on the Limekiln.
Bev was a country girl at heart. She loved to go four wheeling, snowmobiling, and cross country skiing. She enjoyed gardening, and could often be found in the strawberry field, mowing her lawn, or up in the hay loft. Bev’s passion was watching Chris play sports and show horses, always the supportive mom. She loved the beach and her pool, swimming with her grandsons, and camping in PEI.
Bev is survived by her cherished son Chris (Leanne); and grandsons Chase (Amy) and Jaxen (Debra). She is also survived by her beloved mother-in-law, Doris; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Jimmy (Lorna), Michael (Joy), and Rob (Krista); and several special nieces and nephews. Not having sisters of her own, she treasured the strong bonds she had with her sisters-in-law, and special cousin Sara Cheverie (Gerry).
Bev valued the relationships she had with her dear friends and wonderful neighbours. Upon Marty’s passing, they, along with loving family, remained by her side with unwavering care and support.
Bev is predeceased by her parents, Jim and Barb Morgan; brother, Dave Morgan; father-in-law, George Pinnock; and Marty, her devoted husband, best friend, and caregiver.
