Dorcas, Glenwood Earl

The passing of Glenwood Earl Dorcas of Stanley, NB, husband of the late Glenna (Gallagher) Dorcas, occurred on Monday, July 7, 2025. Born on July 16, 1928 in Williamsburg, NB, he was a son of the late Earl and Pearl (Fullarton) Dorcas.

Glenwood is survived by his daughters, Lorna Pinnock (James) and Ila Hickey; grandchildren, Andrew Green, Joseph Green (Elaine MacDougall) and Nancy Green (Asaph Lantz), Jody Pinnock (Jill) and Tara MacKinnon (Shawn); great grandchildren, Callie Pinnock, Audrey Pinnock, Emmeline Pinnock, Claire MacKinnon, Lauren MacKinnon, Matthew Green, Madeleine Green, Meredith Lantz and Gwendolyn Lantz; several nieces and nephews.

Besides his wife and parents, Glenwood was predeceased by his sister, Pauline Brooks; brothers, Royce Dorcas, Chester Dorcas and Alvin Dorcas.

Visitation will take place at Hillcrest United Church, 139 Graveyard Hill, Stanley, NB on Friday, July 11, 2025 from 1-2 pm; followed by a Funeral Service at 2 pm with Pastor Chris Walker officiating. Interment will take place in Williamsburg Community Cemetery. For those who wish, donations may be made to the Hillcrest United Church or to a charity of the donor's choice.
