The death of Larry Allison Cusack of Keswick Ridge, occurred on Saturday June 28,2025 at Pine Grove Nursing Home, Fredericton NB. Born on Dec 8,1952 in Moncton, NB he was the son of the late Allison (Al) Vernon Cusack and the late Pauline (Allen) Cusack. He was a graduate of Moncton High School.

Mr. Cusack was a jack of all trades. He loved music, singing and playing his guitar. He enjoyed art lessons and painting beautiful watercolor nature pictures. His artwork on display at the nursing home made him so happy. He loved nature. Many hours were spent listening to music and reading. He was a flirt and had a great sense of humor. His nickname at the nursing home was “Larr Bear.” He attended Hope Community Church, Keswick Ridge. Larry was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed salmon fishing with his father at the family camp on the Miramichi River.

He is survived by his daughter Meaghan Cusack (Jon); sister, Bonnie Lewis (Glayn) of Keswick Ridge; aunts and uncles, Ted Cusack of Moncton, NB, Lydia Hemm (Ron) of Humboldt, Saskatchewan, Garnet Allen of Moncton, NB; as well as many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and cousins.

Larry was predeceased by Meaghan’s mother, AnnaBelle (Smith) Cusack; aunts and uncles, Hazel and David Booth, Earl Cusack, Olive and Ronald Allen, Lyman Allen, Eileen Allen, Glenda and Frank Haley, Nina Cusack, and Gloria Cusack.

A special thanks to all of Larry’s caregivers for their kindness and compassion over the many years of his health problems at Keetchs Special Care Home and Grand Lake Comfort, both of Mill Cove NB. And to Pine Grove Nursing Home of Fredericton NB for all of the staffs exceptional care, love and compassion for Larry in the final 3 years and 5 months of his life. We are so thankful for this nursing home.

The funeral service will take place at York Funeral Home on Thursday July 3 at 2 pm.
The reception will follow the service at the funeral home. Interment will take place in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens, Moncton NB at a later date. For those who wish to, donations may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice and would be appreciated by the family.
