The passing of Allan Edward Pelkey of Fredericton, NB, occurred on June 27, 2025 at his home.  Born on January 7, 1951 in Oxbow, NB, he was the son of the late Jane (Ruff) & Edward Pelkey. Allan was a salesman and a loving father. 

Allan is survived by his children, Charles Pelkey (Tina), Christina Cruver (Chris), Cherie Pelkey, Christa Dayton (Anthony Priest), and Adam Pelkey; grandchildren, Alden Christianson, Clayton Christianson (Ann), Benjamin Salazar, Anthony Salazar, Daniel Salazar, Christian Salazar, Christopher Dayton, Joshua Dayton (Cassie), Scott Dayton, Haley Pelkey; great grandchildren, Theo Dayton, Ian Christianson, Samual Dayton; siblings, Cheryl O’Neal (Aden O’Neal), Janet Rees, Michael Pelkey, Shane Hoyt (Heidi Hoyt). Allan was predeceased by his parents Jane & Edward.

A Funeral Service will take place at Hope City, 429 Clements Dr, Fredericton, NB on Wednesday, July 2, 2025 at 2 pm with Pastor Joe Beasley officiating. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to Leukemia Foundation. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
