Wagnies, Jason “JDubb” Laurie

The passing of Jason “JDubb” Laurie Wagnies of Fredericton, NB, occurred on June 25, 2025 at his home. Born on August 21, 1976 in Oromocto, NB, he was the son of Lorraine Eleanor (VanIderstine) Wagnies and the late Paul Joseph Wagnies. Jason was a collector, just like his father. He collected everything. Mostly antique toys or whatever he could get his hands on. What he loved above all is spending time with his family and friends.

Jason is survived by his fiancé, Tricia Stillman; mother, Lorraine; brother, Kristopher Wagnies (Misako); sisters, Kelly Wagnies and Brandy Powers (Kenny), and their children, Marcus, MacKenzie, and Hali; special niece, Hannah; special nephew, Kai; close friend, Rob MacPherson; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins; and many special friends.

Jason was predeceased by his father, Joe Wagnies; and grandparents, Patricia & Laurie VanIderstine.

Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton on Saturday, June 28, 2025 from 4 – 6 pm. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to Heart Foundation.  Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
