Obituary of Gerald Joseph Arsenault

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gerald Arsenault on Saturday, June 14,  2025 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital with his family by his side. Born on June 12, 1948, he was the son of the late Dominique and Louise (Robichaud) Arsenault.

Gerald is survived by his beloved wife, Deborah (Storey) Arsenault; children, Tammy MacDonald and Duane Arsenault; grandchildren, Emily and Ashley MacDonald; siblings, Ida Cormier, Josephine (Alcide) Roy, Eva (George) Richard, Abel (Diane) Arsenault, Stella (George) Wheadon, Lena (David) Storey; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to his parents, Gerald was predeceased by his siblings, Aline Geneau, Alice Richard and Marcel Arsenault. 

Visitation will be held at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Wednesday, June 18, 2025 from 11am - 1pm with Funeral Mass to follow at 2 pm at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, 603 Union Street, Fredericton, NB. Interment will immediately follow the service at St. Anthony's Cemetery, Fredericton, NB. Those who wish, donations in Gerald's memory may be made to Hospice Fredericton. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
