It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden but peaceful passing of Emmagene "Jean" MacConnell (Knoblaugh) on Thursday, June 12, 2025. Born on June 28,1942 in Shaunavon, Sask to parents Frank and Elsie Knoblaugh.

Left to mourn are her husband of 63 years, Allan MacConnell; special brother-in-law, Art MacConnell; daughters, Patricia, Tammy (Jerry), and Cheryl (Rodney); grandchildren, Tim, Tina, Charlotte (Alex), and Keyana; great grandchildren, Katrina, Tristin, Gabriella, Amari, Angelo and Anna Leigh, and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held in York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, June 18, 2025 from 1 - 3 pm with the Celebration of Life starting at 3 pm with Bill McLaughlin officiating. Reception will follow the service in the Fireside Room. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations be made to Under the Tent Outreach at accounting@underthetent.ca or to the donor's favourite charity as Jean would give to everyone she could.
