Obituary of Violet Jane Brewer

The passing of Violet Jane Brewer of Burtts Corner, NB, wife of Allan Brewer, occurred on Saturday, June 7, 2025 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital.  Born on November 16, 1963 in McAdam, NB, she was a daughter of the late Ernest and Annie (Williams) Yeo.

In addition to her husband, Violet  is survived by her children Erica Yeo, Ryan Brewer (Sabrina Phillips), Kirk Brewer (Tammy) and Evan Brewer (Shasta); grandchildren, Kayla and Ashlie Yeo, Haley and Austin Phillips, Lucas, Kaylen,  Jasper and Emily Brewer; great granddaughter, Sadie; siblings, Carol Morehouse (Aubrey), Roberta Yeo (Doug Clark), Elizabeth "Liz" Brewer (Randy), Gary Yeo and Sherri Russell (Brent); special sister in law, Lisa Russell; several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Violet was predeceased by her siblings, Ernest Yeo, Cathy Yeo and Susan Brewer.

Visitation will take place at the Apostolic Watchmen Church, 1122 Tripp Settlement Road, Burtt's Corner, NB on Thursday, June 12, 2025 from 12-2 pm; followed by a Funeral Service at 2pm with Pastor Lewis Seeley officiating. Pallbearers for the service will be Stephanie Gould, Tara Best, Crystal Hashey, Dwayne Yeo, Blaine Brewer and Troy Best.  Interment will take place in the Zealand Community Cemetery.
