Obituary of Robin Willis Seymour

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Robin Willis Seymour of Charters Settlement, New Brunswick, husband of Anita Seymour, announces his passing which occurred on June 6, 2025. Born on June 14, 1941, in Fredericton, New Brunswick, he was the son of the late Mabel Rosborough.

Robin was a man of the great outdoors and revelled in any opportunity he had to work in the yard. For most his working life, Robin worked as a heavy equipment mechanic finishing off his career at Caldwell and Ross. He was a hard working and honest man who loved his family and wanted nothing more in life than the peace of the outdoors.

Besides his loving wife Anita, Robin is survived by his daughters; Wendy Nason of Charters Settlement and Cheryl Kelly (Todd) of Beaverdam; son Robert Seymour (Leslie) of Fredericton; two grandsons Joshua Nason and Corey Kelly; along with his sister Donna Barr.

Robin was predeceased by his brothers Adrian Seymour, Warren Seymour, Wendell Seymour, and Harold Seymour; sister Pearl; and his step-father Kenneth Rosborough.

Arrangements are under the loving care of York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton. As per Robin’s wishes there will be no visitation or funeral service. An interment will take place in Acton Cemetery on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at 1PM. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to COPD, heart and stroke or a charity of the donor’s choice.  Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
