Obituary of Izabella Marie Brown

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Izabella Marie Brown of Fredericton, New Brunswick, announces her sudden passing which occurred on June 1, 2025. Born on March 5, 2009, in Fredericton, New Brunswick, she was the beloved adopted daughter of Linda and Paul Brown.

Izzy participated in various sports with her FCA teams, which included basketball and her absolute favourite, volleyball.  She had a great joy for the outdoors and enjoyed swimming, fishing, kayaking, snowmobiling, and much more; her passion for these activities was evident as she was also a remarkably talented artist. She held a profound love for all animals, and any animal she encountered reciprocated that love.

What Izzy cherished most in life was her family and friends. Second to that she relished going on vacation, and had a strong bond with her Hope City Church and a deep connection to Jesus. Izzy was the embodiment of fearlessness, courage, determination, love, empathy, intelligence, and beauty.

Besides her grandparents Linda and Paul, Izzy is survived by her brothers Zachary Howell, Devon Brooks, and Parker Brooks; sister Chloe Brooks; step-father James Wright (Patsy Hanson); biological mother Kimberley Murray; grandparents Paul and Elizabeth Murray; aunts Kelly Howell (Earl), Shelley Foreman (Brian), and Hillary Brown; uncles Adam Murray (Gretchen) and Taylor Brown; along with many cousins, friends and loved ones.

Izzy was predeceased by her great grandparents David and Hope Brown, and her cherished furbaby Fido.

Arrangements are under the loving care of York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton. A Funeral Service will take place at Hope City Church, 429 Clements Drive, Fredericton, New Brunswick on Friday, June 6, 2025, at 2:00 pm.
