J. Robert (Bob) LeBlanc
Dec, 31, 1940 – May 25, 2025
The family of Sgt. J Robert LeBlanc, Fredericton, are saddened to announce his passing on Saturday, May 24, 2025 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital, following a brief illness. He was 84.
Bob was born in Moncton, NB to the late Harold & Mary LeBlanc.
He is survived by his spouse, Joanne (Dore) and sister Jacqueline Lewis as well as a brother, Claude (Joanne). He was predeceased by brothers Jean Paul (Marilyn) & Terry (Susan).
He is also survived by two sons, Steven LeBlanc (Kelly) and Derek LeBlanc (Francine); three stepsons, Terry Stephens (Denise), Todd Stephens (Kelly), and Kirk Stephens (Crystal). He was blessed with numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Bob retired following a 22-year career with the RCMP as a Sargeant and later served 19 years with the NB Emergency Measures Organization.
Among Bob’s passions was working with wood, particularly carving, as well as camping with his wife while making many lasting memories.
The family would like to thank the staff of the Palliative Care Unit of the Chalmer’s Hospital.
At the request of his family, there will be no visitation or funeral service.
