Juanita Muriel Carson of Fredericton, NB, wife of Frederick Thompson Carson, passed away on May 20, 2025, at Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. She was born on August 5, 1940, in Chipman, NB, daughter of the late Ella (Hickey) and Leon Parker.

In addition to her husband, Juanita is survived by her daughters, Brenda Thorne (Chris), Paula Brown, and Lisa Goodine (Martin Ruller); son, Chris Goodine (Jane); step-son, Don Carson (Krista); her beloved grandchildren, thirty one in total, including 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 3 step-grandchildren. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Juanita was predeceased by her first husband, Royden Goodine; her daughter, Cathy Legassie; brother, Royden Parker (Ester); sisters, Edna Hopkins (Goldie), and Marion Hargrove (Perley).

Juanita began her career as a Phlebotomist at Victoria Public Hospital and later as a Jewelry Sales Consultant for Sears, Hogan Jewelry, and Crescent Jewelry. She was also a licensed Diamontologist. Her hobbies included playing Bingo and Pulltab Tickets, cooking, and most importantly, she cherished her family, whether as a wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, or sister-in-law.

A family burial service will be held at Red Bank Cemetery in Chipman on Monday, May 26, 2025, at 1 p.m. Contributions in her memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Just Friends Food Bank (Stanley), or a charity of your choice. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
