I’ll always remember you teaching me how to file my nails into the perfect almond shape, and painting them a modest sheer pink on the door step on a warm summer day at the old house, when Nicole and Sarah and I would all run around the house until it was time for lunch , or how you let me and my sisters play the old organ every time we came , (until our talentless performances sent anyone in ear shot over the edge) but you still just calmly said “okay that’s enough” and we knew … that was in fact enough.. with just “that” look you’d give , I am so honoured now to have that organ in my house now, refurbished as an electric fire place. So it still brings warmth to my heart. All the best parts of you I see in my mother (Brenda)and I hope to carry those on within myself, even if we are a little stubborn. May your wings spread wide and fly so far, and free from all of your worldly burdens and find an eternal freedom, In peace and happiness. I love you and I will see you again someday where the ocean meets the sky.
