Obituary of Juanita Donna Brown
It is with broken hearts that we announce the sudden passing of “Neatsie” Juanita Donna Brown at her residence on the Grand Lake Road on the morning of May 11, 2025. She was the daughter of Margaret (Stewart) and Ronald Clowater, born on December 15, 1941, in McNamee, New Brunswick.
As a faithful member of the Abundant Life Pentecostal Church, Neatsie lived her life in devout service of God. Neatsie loved talking on the phone and spending time with her friends and family. She enjoyed playing games, colouring pictures, photographs and food. With her piano and accordion she always had a song in her heart.
Juanita’s memory will be cherished forevermore by her daughter Alta (Bruce) Braysford; daughter in-law Victoria Buffett; granddaughters Nicole (Jeramy) England, Katelyn Brown (Benjamin) and Kristyn Brown; grandsons Christopher Betts, Timothy Braysford, Ross Braysford (Emma), Dakota Arbeau (Rebecca), Denzel Arbeau (Cassidy) and Tristan Buffett; and great grandchildren Darla Arbeau, Daxton Arbeau and Brynleigh Arbeau.
She is also survived by her sister, Mona Bell, with whom she shared an inseparable bond and spoke on the phone with daily. In addition she will be deeply missed by several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Besides her parents, Neatsie was predeceased by her loving husband, Mason Brown; her devoted son, Kevin Brown; her many siblings Boyd, Eva, Harold, Marion, Perley and Valerie; along with several aunts, uncles and cousins.
A special thank you to Victoria Buffett for her dedication and compassionate care, first responders and supportive members of the community.
We welcome the community to join our family on Friday, May 16, 2025, for the celebration of life at the Abundant Life Pentecostal Church, 583 Main Street, Doaktown, NB. Visitation will take place from 12-2pm with the funeral service and burial to follow. The service will be available online for viewing by the Abundant Life Pentecostal Church. Afterwords the church will be hosting a luncheon in the basement for anyone who wishes to attend.
Donations can be made in Neatsie’s honour to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choice. Personal Condolences may be offered to the family through www.yorkfh.com
