In Loving Memory of

Ashton Bavaird Pilson

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Ashton Bavaird Pilson, who peacefully departed this life at the age of 76 on May 11, 2025.

Ashton was the beloved son of the late Allan and Shirley Pilson. His life was marked by kindness, dedication, and unwavering love for his family and community.

He shared a beautiful life with his devoted wife, Patricia, who stood by his side through all of life’s joys and challenges. Together, they raised three wonderful children: Peter (Mary Beth), Nathan (Julie), and Rebecca (Justin). Ashton was a proud grandfather to seven grandchildren, whose presence brought great joy to his later years.

He will be lovingly remembered as a caring brother to Charlie and Tim, and as a cherished friend, uncle, cousin, brother-in-law, and colleague. Ashton was a dedicated salesman, and many knew him for his integrity, warmth, and good humor.

Ashton had a lifelong love for fishing, often finding peace and reflection on the water. He also had a passion for cards and was well known for his competitive spirit and infectious laughter around the table.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to his work family at Wood Motors. Your continued support, kindness, and friendship meant so much to Ashton and to all of us.

Special thanks also go to his medical team: Dr. Colby Fulton, Dr. Andre Le, Dr. Farah Naz, Dr. Margot Burnell, Dr. Jillian Goodyear, and the staff at Chalmers Hospital, for their compassionate and dedicated care throughout the years.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ashton’s memory to the Canadian Cancer Society.

Ashton’s warmth, laughter, and love will forever remain in our hearts. His legacy will live on in all who knew him
