Obituary of Edward Irvine Condly

Edward Irvine Condly passed away peacefully on May 7^th, 2025, at the age of 88 at Eden’s Retirement Villa, Fredericton, NB

 

Born in Fredericton, NB, Edward was the son of Margaret and George Condly. Edward is predeceased by his beloved wife, Ardith Valerie Condly. Edward is survived by his daughters, Trudy (Charlie), Chantal (Danny), Lisa (John) and Melissa; grandchildren, Christina, Tyler, Alex, Megan and Ashley; great grandchildren, Oaklynn and Leyda; special nephew, Larry and niece, Wendy.

 

Edward was known as Ed to everyone that knew him. He had many jobs over his life but spent most of them as an Auto Body Technician and a delivery driver for S.A. Deliveries. Ed enjoyed Motor bikes and in his younger years he raced Stock cars around the Province of NB. Ed loved to go fishing and play cards with whoever stopped in, especially getting beat by Alex most of the time.

 

Our family would like to thank the amazing staff at Eden’s Villa for the love and care you showed our dad over the past few years. He loved all of you and he considered you family. We also want to thank Dr. Vaillancourt for his care and compassion for our dad. It is obvious you truly love your patients.

 

Ed requested no funeral service. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. For those who wish, donations in memory of Ed may be made to the Capital Region Special Olympics, Alzheimer’s Society, 12 Neighbours Fredericton, the Kids Help Phone or to a charity of your choice.
