August 29,1934 - May 2, 2025

It is with great sadness that the family of Lillian Irene Spencer (Lily) announce her passing at the Doctor Everett Chalmers Hospital on May 2nd, surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Hayesville, NB, Lily was the daughter of the late Earl and Beatrice Lovelace. She was predeceased by her husband and soulmate Blaine, her daughter Shirlene, her parents, her sister Weed and brothers Carl and Toad.

Lily, known by everyone who met her as the sweetest little lady, was known for her kindness and her love for her family, all of whom she spoiled and cherished. She leaves behind her son Brian (Ruby), her son in law Ron, five grandchildren - Adam Stapledon (Tanya), Michael Stapledon (Aleisha), Michelle Stapledon (Dave), Patti McAllister (Paul), Denna Moran (Brandon), twelve great grandchildren- Brendan Stapledon, Christian Stapledon(Jem), Tyler Stapledon, Zoey Stapledon, Janelle Wilson (Devon), Autumn Bishop, Elijah Stapledon, Denver McAllister (Brianna), Calee McAllister (Josh), Marshall Moran, Owen Moran, and Karley Moran, two great great granddaughters Nora Stapledon and Lainey McAllister.

Lily also leaves behind her brothers Charlie Lovelace (Eva), Arthur Lovelace (Doreen), Tommy Lovelace (Judy), and Glenn Lovelace and her sister Reta Munn (Harold) along with several nieces and nephews and her special friend Jodi Steeves.

Visitation will take place at the Miramichi's First Pentecostal Church of Holtville, 376 Holtville Rd, Holtville, NB, on Monday, May 5th from 2 - 4 pm and 7 - 9 pm.  A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, May 6th at 2 pm, officiated by Reverend Landen Decker. Interment will be at Cameron Hill Cemetery at a later date where Lily will be placed to rest beside her loving husband Blaine.
