Obituary of Kevin Mason Brown

It is with the greatest of sadness that our family announces the sudden passing of Kevin Mason Brown, of Grand Lake Road, on April 30, 2025. Kevin was the only son of Juanita (Clowater) and the late Mason Brown, born on September 30, 1964 in Fredericton, New Brunswick.

Kevin was a loyal salmon guide at Sutter's Salmon Club on the Miramichi River. He absolutely loved spending his summers on the water, lending a helping hand, telling stories and laughing alongside his dear friends and co-workers. When those hot summer days came to an end, Kevin headed to the place he loved best ... The wood pile. Day after day, tank after tank and load after load, you could always find him with a smile on his face and a spring in his step. Anyone who had the pleasure of meeting Kevin could tell right away what a kindhearted soul he truly was. They've met a man whose unconditional love spilled over to so many. Stepping up into loving roles that changed the lives of the people he held so dear to his heart.

Kevin will be deeply missed but never forgotten by his mother, Juanita Brown; sister, Alta (Bruce) Braysford; Love of his life, Victoria Buffett; daughters, Katelyn Brown (Benjamin), and Kristyn Brown; sons, Dakota Arbeau (Rebecca), Denzel Arbeau (Cassidy), and Tristan Buffett. Kevin will be forever loved by his treasured grandchildren, Darla, Daxton, and Brynleigh. He will also be fondly remembered by nieces, Nicole England (Jeremy), Amanda (Barrett) Price, and Kayla Rhynars; his nephews, Christopher Betts, Ross (Emma) Braysford, Timothy Braysford; along with several aunts, uncles, cousins, and cherished friends.

Kevin was predeceased by his father, Mason Brown; paternal grandparents, John and Maria Brown; maternal grandparents, Ronald and May Clowater; along with several aunts, uncles and cousins.

We welcome all his many friends to join Kevin's Family at the Abundant Life Pentecostal Church, 583 Main Street, Doaktown, NB, on Sunday, May 4, 2025 from 4 to 7 pm to share in fellowship and memories. Funeral Service and burial will be held at the same location on Monday, May 5, 2025 at 1 pm. Everyone is invited to join the family for a luncheon following the ceremonies in the church basement.
