WENDY SAMANTHA CROSS-BYRNE

1970 – 2025

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Wendy, wife of the late Martin Byrne, on Thursday, April 10, 2025, surrounded by love and comfort of her family at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital in Fredericton, NB.

Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are her parents, Melvin and Verna (Fewer) Cross, her fur baby Meeka, as well as a large circle of extended family and friends. Besides her beloved husband, Wendy was predeceased by her siblings, Dennis and Cathy Jean.

She was a shining light in our lives leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter and kindness. Wendy loved the outdoors and spending time at her camper. Her strong work ethic and professionalism in the workplace were part of her character. Her spirit will be forever missed, but her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

There will be no visitation or service at this time. Interment will take place at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Oncology Unit at the Saint John Regional Hospital in her memory or the Faiths Haven Animal Shelter in Labrador West.
