Oh, Jimmy. We had so many great times together. Smoking in the blistering heat, the pouring rain, the freezing cold…what a laugh we would have! I always saved you a seat in church and you would sing the hymns proudly. You were the source of my happiness here at York Care Centre and I don’t know what I’ll do here without you. But I’m certain you are in Heaven now resting in peace, looking down on us, pain-free, which is what you deserve more than anything. I’m sure you are surrounded by your old dogs, and your family, and that you will be eternally happy. I love you Jimmy. Rest in peace.

I am saddened to hear of Jimmy’s passing. I did not know Jimmy really, but always hoped he would be around so I could push him out to have his cigarette whenever I visited York Care. We would have a brief chat and wish each other well. Rest in peace Jimmy.
