Long, Garry Fraser

The passing of Garry Fraser Long of Fredericton, NB, husband of the late Lena (Larlee) Long, occurred on Sunday, April 6, 2025 at Eden’s Retirement Villa in Fredericton, NB.  Born on April 13, 1949 in McNamee, NB, he was a son of the late Garnet and Elizabeth (Beek) Long.   

Garry is survived by his son, Gregory Long; granddaughter, Stephanie Swain (Noel); 3 great grandchildren, Jacqueline, Mackenzie and Jasmine; siblings, Jim Long (Roberta), Jean Johnson and Raymond Long; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, Garry was predeceased by his siblings, Catherine Calhoun and Donald Long.

There will be no visitation or service. A Graveside Service will take place on Monday, April 21, 2025 at 11 am in the Dayton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice. Family would like to thank the staff at Eden’s Retirement Villa, Dr.’s and Extra Mural for their care and compassion given to Garry. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
