Obituary of Bernice Ann Button Talbot

The passing of Bernice Ann Button Talbot of Nashwaak Bridge, NB, wife of Leslie Talbot, occurred on Wednesday, April 2, 2025 at Hospice Fredericton. Born on June 19, 1941 in Stanley, NB, she was the daughter of the late Lloyd and Gertrude (Elgee) Sellick. Bernice was employed at the Stanley Villa as a homemaker. Her many interests included skating, bowling, knitting and doing crafts.

In addition to her husband, Bernice is survived by her children, Martin Button and Craig Button (Joelle Graham); brother, Walter Sellick; stepson, Frank Jewett; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Bernice was predeceased by her brother, Avon Sellick; and nephew, Luke Sellick.

Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Tuesday, April 8, 2025 from 2-4 pm. Interment will take place at a later date.
